Name a brand (for example, Hanes underwear, Samsonite luggage or another brand) and then identify the following for the complete product assortment: 

WRANGLER JEANS

  • Styles offered ( Straight, Bootcut, Relaxed,Slim)

  • Sizes offered(27-54)

  • Colors offered ( Dark indigo, Light indigo, White, Black)

  • Materials offered ( 100% cotton, Spandex, Polyester)

2) Compare and contrast across two online retailers what parts of the total assortment each store carries that are similar and different. (For example, does Walmart and Target carry all of the same colors, sizes, styles, and materials of Hanes underwear? Explain.)

Walmart and Wrangler.com

Walmart carries a limited sizing 28-42 since this is said to be the range of construction workers or the general public , Another thing is that Walmart generally carries 100% and dark indigo, blue indigo and merely black, straight fits and bootcuts)

Wrangler.com ( has all colors, sizes and style of denim since this i directly from the vendor )

3) Justify why some parts of the manufacturer's assortment were not carried by each specific retail store. There should be two justifications (one for the first retailer chosen and another for the second retailer chosen). (For example, explain why one retailer may have stock that another retailer did not--- such as a certain size/color/style/material).

Walmart simply didn't add certain sizes and colors because they weren't selling to the general public, along with sizing construction workers were more likely to purchase these jeans so bootcut and straight were the most sold)

Wrangler decided to add all styles sizes and colors to drive the relevancy of the brands image to the general public who were buying slim, straight, bootcut, and relaxed for comfort)
